Summary
Eddie is perfectly happy with his life, thank you. The hits may not stop coming but he's always grateful for what he still has. Not a thing he would change, even if there are some wants that are better off ignored, some juices left undrunk. But this job is just the gift that keeps on giving, a new punch to the gut every month.

Eddie gets dosed with some type of aphrodisiac on a call, and resists the need as long as he can. Thankfully he has Buck by his side to help him every step of the way.

Summary
“We are not alright!” Theo exclaims, way too delighted considering the meaning of his words. “Eddie broke his nose!”
From his spot on the floor, Eddie looks up at Buck and nods solemnly. Buck can't help but laugh at the sight, but Eddie does not break character for even a second.Bookmarked by SaruzBuddie

Summary
“Is it weird that I’ve always wanted someone to kiss me like that?” Eddie says, mouth completely skipping that whole ask-brain-for-permission-first thing.
“No weirder than me always wanting to kiss someone like that,” Buck replies.
Every bit of oxygen is sucked out of the room. The movie is still playing, but Eddie can’t hear it over the ringing in his ears. His eyes snap to Buck, who is rhythmically puffing his cheeks out and picking at the label on his bottle of soda.
Five time Buck and Eddie kiss platonically, and one time they don't.

Summary
"We can both go," Buck offers quickly, the words coming out of his mouth barely after Eddie's finished speaking. For a second, he worries it'll be enough to make Eddie shut off again, but he catches the barest flicker of a smile and a knot of anxiety releases from his chest. "I can make us lunch after?"
"You sound like my Abuela," Eddie jokes. "Trying to heal me with food?"
"Hey, I know what your appetite is like. I know you too well."
Or, five times where Buck tries to heal Eddie’s mood with food, and one time he doesn’t need to.

Summary
Eddie recaps this in his head a couple more times and he’s — jealous. Fuck, he’s jealous. That’s the word for it, the heat coiling deep in his gut, his whole body wound like a spring about to snap.
Jealousy.
Which is a bizarre emotion to feel about your best friend sleeping with someone. Jealousy implies ownership, implies wanting, implies — implies that 1) Eddie is not straight, and 2) he is possibly in love with his best friend and maybe possibly wants to suck said best friend’s dick about it.
Alright — okay. Eddie feels like he needs to sit with that for a second, give it the space it deserves.
Eddie wants to suck a dick attached to a person who is a man.
Not just any dick, either. Buck’s dick. His best friend.
Huh.
He expected that to feel weirder. He expected sirens, maybe, or a crisis, or at minimum a dramatic internal monologue about his Catholic upbringing and the sanctity of heterosexuality.
Instead, there’s nothing. The sirens are silent, the crisis doesn’t come, and Eddie wants to suck his best friend’s cock. Non-platonically.
Or,
Eddie moves back to LA, finds out Buck slept with Tommy, and reacts accordingly.Bookmarked by SaruzBuddie
