Summary
Phainon always watched mermaids fall in love with their 'soulmate'. They twirled through the waves with stars in their eyes, trading tails for legs and songs for silence. Most never came back in piece. Some did, but they forgot how to smile.
His teacher, the sea witch, called them foolish. But Phainon was curious, wondering how beautiful a love could be.
Then, one fateful night, he found a human, drifting in a storm, golden-eyed with equally bright hair. Phainon thought a human couldn’t shine underwater, and yet, this one did.
Phainon saved him once. That should’ve been enough.
However, Phainon started to yearn the human again. To hear his laugh. To walk beside him, just for a little while. Just long enough to learn what love might feel like.

Summary
Bakugo really kind of hated everyone, and his classmates were no exception - especially that damn half-n-half bastard. Maybe that's why Aizawa paired them together, and that little act had started what Katsuki called a Horrific Catastrophe of Utter Doom. A.K.A., falling in love.
Or basically,
Bakugo finds himself at Todoroki's house to work on an English project over winter break, and proceeds to meet his more than unusual brother Dabi. Bakugo seems to find himself drawn to the tattoo-covered man, who may be the one person that won't put up with Bakugo's shit. But there's a little more to him beneath the surface, and sometimes saviors come dressed in black, and covered in blood.
This is a happy story. Eventually.

Summary
Things go pear shaped fast for the League. The big shadow leader tugs on Shigaraki's strings too tightly, too much like Endeavor with too many red flags. Hawks cuts the group a deal that they can't refuse, cutting them loose from villany and dark plots.
Free on a conditional release Dabi keeps his head down and pushes ink under other's skin, pretty designs and artistry an outlet and a job. He can ignore heroes this way, their high-powered fights never touching his tiny corner of the world.
Until a little fearless ball of repressed rage and strength wanders in and demands a tattoo, exploding the careful patchwork of Dabi's life.
