Summary

Summary
He stands and watches Jisung while coach rambles on about their week. Shit-eating grin, deceptively round cheeks, lightning in his eyes. Minho knows the type, he’s been in the game long enough. Cocksure asshole, boiling over with his own ego, toxic masculinity to boot.
Minho hates him, he doesn’t need to be proven right by talking to Jisung, he knows he hates him by the way Jisung smacks fists with Jeongin, thumps him on the back when they break to start practice.
“I hear he’s gunning for your limelight,” Changbin hooks Minho over the neck with a strong arm, heading down the field. “Better watch out.”
Minho scoffs. “Fat fucking chance. I’d like to see him try.”
(OR: Hotshot quarterback Minho hates cocky transfer player Jisung, but he hates losing more.)

Summary
Zuko puts on a good show, whether he realizes it or not. His movements are swift, delicate, elegant, and fierce all at once, his swords moving as an extension of himself. At another time, Sokka might have asked if he wanted to spar. Today... Today he finds himself mesmerized by the fluid ripple of Zuko's muscles, the way the sunlight glints off his skin, and the way his eyes gleam in a way that almost makes him look happy.
That's where the problem starts. The eye gleam; that's what Sokka blames for what happens next. That's why, as Zuko is flexing his arm above his head and twisting carefully on a single heel, Sokka blurts out, "Have you ever kissed a guy before?"
Zuko's foot gives out from under him. He falls flat on his ass with a strangled yelp, swords clattering to the ground beside him.

Summary
Zuko and Sokka have been spending time together out of coincidence because of all the loose ends of the war. They've gotten close within the past year, but they start to understand each other on a more personal level after they both get dumped.
Maybe it's the lonliness, maybe it's the chemistry that blooms between them. Maybe it's a mixture of both, but Sokka won't tell him.
Zuko thinks it would all be fine if they just at least talked about it. But Sokka's avoidance is making him believe that maybe this good thing, this amazing thing, is just convenient.
