Summary
Bruno Buccellati is a fearsome pirate captain known throughout the Mediterranean for his cunning, ruthlessness, and ambition. Hes famous for chasing legends and fairy tales. For being the laughing stock of most of his comrades for believing foolish stories.
But Buccellati and his crew know the fountain of youth is more than just a fairy tale and magic is not yet dead in this world.
After the death of of the sage Dio Brando, Buccellati assumes its over, the fountain can never be activated. It's just a useless pool of water now. Hes doomed. That is until he finds a glimmer of hope in the man's bastard son and hes not about to let this opportunity slip through his fingers. He doesn't have much time and he'll do anything, or at least so he's convinced himself to believe, to achieve his goal.

After defeating the Absolute Wyll has a choice to make. Travel the world as the Blade, weaker but no less passionate, or take his late fathers place as a Duke of Baldurs Gate. "When Wyll’s father told him they were tracking a nest of vampires in the city back to a local magistrate, he never envisioned the work would be so boring. It’s true that he had to basically start an investigation from scratch since the “evidence” tying said magistrate to vampirism was more or less a hunch based on patterns of overly harsh punishments doled out over the last three years and surface judgements about his complexion. It’s too easy to claim a coincidence that all of the prisoners he’s sentenced have gone missing. They need hard facts. He had begged Duke Ravengard, captain of the Flaming Fist, to let him help: but it had been his father, Uldur Ravengard, that kept telling him no. It was too dangerous. Vampires weren't like the monsters he usually slayed; they were intelligent, tricky, and not to mention strong. Just the kind of beast Wyll needed to launch his name into notoriety."
For months now Wyll Ravengard has been desperate to prove himself by chasing a lead that's brought him to the legal offices of Astarion Ancunin. However, Astarion is a hard man to deceive and though at first it sounded like a good idea to keep the Ravengard boy around he must be a little creative in order to get rid of him.

Astarion Ancunin is sick of working for the Szarr family. And Lily Aurora is in desperate need of some love from the universe. However, just as soon as good fortune comes their way, Wulbren Bongle is there to accidentally throw a wrench in everything and change their collective lives forever. Punishment must be doled out appropriately, but Astarions' not so sure he can handle seeing Wyll walk that kind of path.

“Hey,” V answered. His voice almost cracked, tight with wanting. He could hear his own blood thundering in his ears. The miniature projection of Kerry from shoulders-up flickered and then stabilized.
His eyes were no longer blue but so dark a brown they were almost black.
V thought of rivers flowing backwards in the middle of the night, of molasses dripping sluggish and heavy down the side of a cracked jar. Tarry oil pulled from deep in the earth. Hot asphalt under his bare feet. The rich, wet soil from his mother’s rooftop garden in the ‘50s. Sunlight filtering through a glass beer bottle.
Kerry smiled at him, so open and easy and warm that V’s heart caught in his throat, and the world flipped over on its axis.

After a second to get his bearings, he turned on his heel. “Alright, see ya around.” Claire’s voice rang in V’s head as he headed for the exit hall.
