“It’s just a quirk! A robbery got a little… out of hand and–” he glances over at Baby Icyhot, who’s looking down the hallway as Deku holds his hand. “...Things happened.”
Or: Todoroki gets hit with a quirk that makes him five years old again, and Katsuki finds himself picking at some long-healed scar tissue that’s not even his.

“There’s nothing to root for! It’s a misunderstanding, alright? I don't fucking like Todoroki!” Katsuki exclaims for the nth time, with a slam of his fist on the table to punctuate his statement.
But no one’s fucking listening. No one ever is.
(Or: It's a well-known fact that Bakugou Katsuki likes Todoroki Shouto — just ask anyone. Other than Bakugou Katsuki himself, of course.)

Bakugou Katsuki likes to fight.
Well– he likes to win, actually. But a win is only worth a damn when you have to fight for it, and there’s only one person in this stupid class who actually can put up a fight against Katsuki. That’s why the guy makes a halfway decent sparring partner – Icyhot’s strong. Icyhot’s powerful. He makes every damn thing look effortless, but when Katsuki’s his opponent, he has to actually try for once.
So then– what the hell is he supposed to do when the half and half bastard stops trying?
Or: Bakugou and Todoroki have an arrangement to spar after school for stress relief. But when Todoroki starts looking and acting strangely, Bakugou starts to pay a little closer attention.

Summary
By the end of the night they’re married, the union is strong, and the villages between their two kingdoms can breathe a sigh of relief and thrive under a peaceful alliance for decades to come. The ceremony was done, and the two of them had signed all the papers and drank from all the important goblets. Katsuki had thought that was that.
But apparently there’s a funny little rule in Norse courting rituals where you have to fuck your betrothed like a goddamn heathen to make a marriage “official.” Katsuki learned of it approximately two fucking minutes ago, on his way to spend his first night as a married man.
And Highlanders are the ones that they call barbaric. Isn’t that funny.
