Summary
Kiyoomi has always been somewhat drawn to Atsumu, but it's subliminal at best. He has no problem ignoring the feeling, and he doesn't think it affects their relationship as friends and as teammates. That is, at least, until Atsumu comes to practice donned in a pleated skirt and thigh highs with the only indication of them being sports appropriate being the two white stripes and, oh good god why are the armholes cut so low?
Now, he's not sure if he can ignore it as well as he could before.

n. An image that somehow becomes lodged deep in your brain—maybe washed there by a dream, or smuggled inside a book, or in Atsumu’s case, planted during a casual conversation with Sakusa Kiyoomi.
Did Atsumu know he was talking to Sakusa Kiyoomi? No, but did he refrain from embarrassing himself? Also no. That doesn’t stop his brain from fixating on Sakusa’s curls, his two moles, the way his eyes crinkle when he smiles, the tinkling sound of his laugh directed at Atsumu.
Even though their first meeting wasn’t as ideal as Atsumu hoped it would be, he still thinks he can feel the electricity between them. Maybe they’ll turn out to be friends, maybe more. Who knows. Certainly not Atsumu.

Summary
Atsumu has a long history of pissing people off, but this time he’s gone too far. Someone wants him dead, and although he doesn’t know who or why, it becomes clear very quickly that both he and Osamu are in danger. After a couple of close calls, Kita - the Kumicho of Inarizaki - decides it’s not safe for the two of them to stay in Hyogo; not until he finds out who placed the hit and eliminates them.
Atsumu reluctantly finds himself in Tokyo, taken in by a yakuza group that’s nothing like Inarizaki. The Black Jackals are a different breed, more lethal than he’s used to, and Sakusa Kiyoomi is the worst of them all. Of course that’s who Atsumu gets stuck with, and he and Sakusa are in constant competition for who hates each other more.
Tokyo should be a safe haven but between Atsumu’s bloody new assignments, the lingering threat on his life, and all the days trapped with Sakusa, Atsumu isn’t sure he’ll make it out of Tokyo alive.
