Tudo estava maravilhosamente bem e dentro dos conformes: a equipe Z estava apresentando um ótimo desempenho e humor, o dia estava ensolarado em uma temperatura agradável, Shroud finalmente havia sido preso e a cidade estava em toda sua glória novamente.
Tudo estava correndo bem. Até não estar mais.
Suas mãos começaram a ficar estranhamente leves; por mais que tocasse no teclado, mouse ou caneca, ele não sentia o que estava tocando. A textura parecia falsa, faltando algo que ele não sabia explicar o que era. Sua visão ficou embaçada, apesar de estar enxergando perfeitamente bem. O mundo ao seu redor parecia estar girando mais devagar; as pessoas pareciam mais como fantoches do que humanos. Ele parecia um fantoche, no automático, preso em seu próprio corpo.
Ele se sentia como uma nuvem.
