Summary
Michael Kaiser looked smaller than he remembered. The striker’s face was turned away, bandages wrapped around his head and torso. Tubes snaked from his arms to various machines that beeped in steady, mechanical rhythms. His blue-streaked hair was matted with dried blood they hadn’t fully cleaned yet.
The doctors said he was stable. That he’d been lucky—incredibly, impossibly lucky. The car had taken most of the impact. A few broken ribs, internal bleeding they’d managed to stop, a concussion. He’d live.
But when Ness had gotten the call three hours ago from an unknown number—a police officer asking if he knew Michael Kaiser, if he could come to the hospital, if he was family—the midfielder’s entire world had narrowed to a single, horrifying point.
Kaiser is dying.

Summary
Did the sky clear up? Endo could swear the moon was out. Why did it suddenly get so bright? The sun couldn’t be shining down at this time. God? Was God blessing this fight with their heavenly light? Endo just exhaled, his eyes going wide as a giddy grin came to his mouth. Idiot. He was an absolute idiot. What God existed for him to bow down to, what deity could ever satisfy him like this.
None. There was no God who could do such thing.
None but Chika Takiishi.
He raised his hands, cupping the view of the burning flame before of him. He could feel the heat radiating off, prodding all over his body. Oh, how he wished to be the direct focus of that heat. How good it must feel for a God to set his divine judgement on you.
How good must such a burn feel?

They cling like bruised skins, soft and sagging, too far gone to peel apart. Press one, and the other oozes. What festers in one heart leaks quietly into the other.
It’s not love. It might never have been. Love would suggest some kind of softness that precedes the rot, some memory of fruit before it spoiled. But what they are is all aftertaste. It’s the bite you regret too late, the way mold blooms when you swore you just checked the fridge yesterday.
They don't speak of loyalty and they don’t need to. It’s not something they offer, it’s something they are. Like infection, or consequence, unavoidable and worsening the longer they let it fester.

This fanfic was lowkey bipolar went from a heavy anyalis on Kaiser's character to an actual fanfic with dialogue Kaiser and ness go from "fighting" to doing it. Don't getme mentioned on how well written Kaiser's character in this was actually the whole thing was not that i actually understood half of it a lot of big words were used. But my favorite part was when Kaiser said dont leave me to ness man i love that misunderstood angry man and adorable ness. Enough of the yapping ts was peak
