Essek has heard good things about Wildmount. The production value is by all accounts pretty good, the site is supposed to be amazing, and from what he's read of the rulebook, the game itself is solid. He takes a weekend to try something a little more immersive than his weekly hack n slash, and is immediately thrown in with the group of long time players known as The Mighty Nein.

Azune's bought them all a few more days, or weeks - but -
- oh, gods in their graveyards. He can't stand it anymore. The worlds his words conjure up keep coming true. One day, will he look back and find himself without a shadow? Will he be erased by the movements of his tongue? Swept along and subsumed beneath his own deceit?
Better not to speak at all, for a little while. He already came so close to ruining everything. He can't let it happen again.
So as soon as a proper chance presents itself, he pulls Julien Davinos into the third-floor coat closet and pins him carefully up against the door.
Azune approaches Julien for some quick, efficient stress relief.

After the end of the Falconers Rebellion, Thjazi does not send Azune to Dol-Makjar to establish himself there and join the Arcane Marshals.
Instead, he sends him to the Golden Orchard, where he signs into the service of House Davinos. The task Thjazi has given him is simple; be a good soldier, protect Aranessa Royce.
