recovery isn’t linear, and it becomes even more of a rollercoaster when the boy he left his heart with all those years ago finds him again in the center of a new city; taller and more confident and clearly, distinctly part of a pack that hongjoong would have no place in even if he longed for it.

Yunho snorted, before he blew at the candle. When the light flickered, he felt a cold breeze wash over his body. The flame went out. A crack of thunder rumbled from far away.
Yeosang stumbled into Wooyoung. ”Come on you guys, keep moving,” he complained, pushing Wooyoung forward in the direction of their house. ”It’s probably gonna rain soon and I don’t want to get wet.”
Yunho shook the spooky feeling off and stood up to follow them. He couldn’t wait to go to bed.
