"Took you long enough." A tiny smirk broke out onto Truthless Recluse's face. "Did you like my gift?"
"You know, you can ask for my attention when you want it." Sage took a step forward into Truthless Recluse's room, and the latter took a step back. "You don't need to go out of your way to curse my students just to get me to come here."
Truthless Recluse tucked half of his face into the high collar of his robe, but his grin was obvious from how the corners of his eyes crinkled. "You of all people should know the cure to that curse, considering it is quite simple. So, what's the issue?"
Stepping forward again, Sage made sure to shut the door behind him. "My issue is how you involve people who shouldn't be involved. Candy Apple Cookie has nothing to do with our relationship, so it's not fair to mess with her."
"Also—" Sage continued forward until the back of Truthless Recluse's knees collided with his bed. "—I want you to learn how to ask for what you want."
Sage puts Truthless Recluse in his place!

Pure Vanilla makes no exchange of words, flipping to the next page with practiced patience. He could never explain these visits to the other ancients. If he lowered his book or spoke a word the feeling would simply vanish. To observe the beast of deceit is to scare him back into hiding, among the ruins of his poor spire.
The forecast predicted rain.
He didn’t wish for the other to hide amongst the dreary shadows of an unwelcoming night.
And so, hellos were nonexistent.

It had been a week since he’d taken residence in Shadow Milk’s castle, and now his heat was only a month away, he had to work quickly. Shadow Milk was cold to him, still playing a game of cat and mouse.
Pure Vanilla was disappointed with himself, his omegan brain already claiming the alpha as his. But he couldn’t really help it, not when Shadow Milk had unknowingly started a courting ritual between the two of them.

Summary
Shadow Milk... tolerates, the cold.
His Spire always teetered on cold and the surrounding environment required at least a light coat to remain warm.
But that does not mean he likes being cold.
