Summary
Sonic the Hedgehog is a journalist for The New York Times. He ends up infiltrating the "Tipsy Owl", a bar in Manhattan, in which are dark things going on. Soon, he figures out that the police seems to turn two blind eyes on the place, although certain guests of the bar definitely have something to do with the robbery of an expensive piece of jewelery - and things get dangerous when they murder a civilian. Asides from that there is Shadow, a mysterious barkeeper that is deeper in the rabbit hole of the deals at the bar than he wants to admit...
