Summary
Sighing, Eddie closes his crossword book for good and tosses it on the table before he stands. He never could leave Buck sad and pouting for long. “If you’re really serious about this, I’ll do it.”
Buck jerks his head up. “What?”
“I’ll be your practice partner” —Eddie gestures to him— “or whatever you want to call it.”
“But you're straight.” Buck says it as an unequivocal fact. His mouth is pressed into a firm line. The corners start to twitch into a full on frown again like he’s disappointed.
It almost has Eddie wanting to say, ‘Yeah, I’m disappointed in me too.’
Instead, he musters through the weird twisted knot persisting in his gut and plasters on a smile. “Which is perfect for you so you don’t have to worry about anyone catching feelings.”
(Or Buck wants to practice kissing guys and Eddie volunteers)

Summary
Buck isn’t sure why he hesitates but he leans low as if to whisper all conspiracy-theory-like to Eddie who keeps his eyes half closed and rests his head against his hand propped on the table. “I think I made out with someone last night.”
Eddie stiffens. Slowly, his eyes peel open. “Who?”
“I don’t know; that’s the problem.”
“A stranger?”
“I hope not.” He shudders. “Must be someone we were with last night.” Which is also a horrifying thought since the choices range from his father-figure to his lesbian co-worker… and to his best friend, who he's very much in love with.
(or Buck doesn’t know who he made out with last night and he’s making it everybody’s problem)

Summary
"You're doing it on purpose. I doubt you two even know whose clothes are whose now."
Buck laughs as if this is all a humorous inside joke between the three of them. Chimney is not laughing. "I mean, when you do laundry together, things are bound to get mixed up," he says, like it’s the most normal thing in the world.
Chimney stops short once again.
"Back up a second. Why" —he massages his forehead. It doesn't help his rapidly forming headache— "Why the hell are you two doing laundry together?”
(or Buck and Eddie seem to keep swapping clothes and it’s driving Chimney insane)

Summary
“Really?” Lance says instead as he crosses his arms and drags himself closer. “You’re sleeping in your day clothes? Didn’t anybody tell you that’s gross?”
Keith glares but that stupid, cute smile hasn’t fully vanished, almost like he wants to laugh at Lance or maybe this entire situation. “You’d prefer me sleeping naked? Because that’s the only other option. They didn’t lend us pajamas.”
Lance splutters. “First” —he holds up one finger, the middle one— “I didn’t say strip naked. Boxers are perfectly acceptable sleepwear, jerk. And two, I prefer you not sleeping here at all.”
Keith pats the open space next to him. “Come here, scaredy cat. I don’t bite.”
(or the five times Lance “accidentally” kisses Keith and the one time Keith kisses Lance on purpose)

Summary
Lance stopped listening a long time ago. Something about his attention span constantly wandering to Keith beside him whenever he brushes his thumb across Lance’s knuckles or presses his foot against Lance’s. It’s the consistent contact that distracts him. He loves it.
“Please explain again what the issue is here?” Keith asks, directing a pointed glare towards the strangers.
The man across from them rubs his temple. He called himself Shiro earlier and that certainly didn’t ring any bells in Lance’s head. His recognition remains blank.
“I’m not saying you two can’t hold hands. It’s just—”
“This is going to be great blackmail material for when you regain your memories.”
(or due to a healing pod malfunction, Lance and Keith temporarily lose their memories only to become convinced that they’re dating)

Summary
“Lance, you’re going to make me fall,” Keith says as those lips move closer to his jawline. Lance brushes a lock of hair behind Keith’s ear, in order for his lips to make contact with Keith’s pale skin.
“Don’t worry, I’d save you,” Lance replies as they watch the ocean before them.

Summary
The skyline before him glitters as the fading sunlight refracts off the panes of glass, and the street lights slowly blink on one by one as the soft darkness begins to consume everything. As he stands on the balcony, a pair of arms wraps around his waist, dragging him closer to that comforting warmth.
Keith has never felt more at home.

Summary
“Maybe you could also try getting laid,” Lance continues, as if he’d noticed the tension in the air as well. He must’ve – there’s no way he hadn’t. The air is thick enough to choke them both.
“Oh, yeah, because everyone’s just lining up to get me to sleep with them,” Keith answers, heavy on the sarcasm. He’s hoping for a rebuttal, for a ‘well, I am’, for something to latch on to.
“Can’t be too hard for you to find someone with the way you look, man.” Lance vaguely gestures at him. “You just gotta open your eyes.”
or: Keith struggles with leading. Lance struggles with his sexuality. Hooking up solves none of those problems.

Summary
Lance figures that he should probably be freaking out about the fact that he can't remember anything and definitely has amnesia, but the much more pressing matter is the fact that he's obviously been kidnapped. So, he's freaking out about that instead.

Summary
It’s a matter of principle, Lance decides. Keith said he’d be here, so he should be here, not trapped in some cold, damp, abandoned bunker, on Christmas.
So what if Keith doesn’t like the tinsel and lights; Lance was going to get slightly tipsy on nunvil with him and talk.
OR
When a last minute mission leaves Keith stranded in an abandoned Galra base over Christmas, the team agrees to postpone their rescue til after the party. Desperate to spend Christmas with Keith, Lance ignores procedure and embarks on his own rescue operation. But when things go sideways, he may be the only one able to reach Keith in time to save his life. Oh, and in time for Christmas.

Summary
Sure enough, it’s frigid against his pores. But, more importantly, a white blanket covers the evergreens, dusting their branches and settling into a thick, powdery layer across the hidden grass below.
“It snowed!” Lance grins wildly, joy taking over his face and motivating him to jump across the room, digging through his suitcase suddenly.

Summary
When he woke up, Keith Kogane was very distinctly not in his bed.
Keith grabbed his head as the memories returned in jabbing, painful flashes, as if they were being forced upon his mind. Shouting. Torches. Gunshots, punching dangerously past the narrow space between his ear and shoulder.
Where am I?
--
The universe is a confusing and complicated place. It holds secrets in its web, contains multitudes in a series of truths that contradict everything Keith knows. And what does he know, anyway?
Keith's only ever been one thing during the span of his life: lost. And that's all he's ever capable of being.
Tripping through the brush, stumbling over hills, and sliding down riverbanks, Keith can run and run and run and run, but he will never find it. No matter how many twisted reflections he sees in the puddles at his feet.
And the stars, they weep.
