Shane shakes his head and tries to protest over what’s happening, but the duct tape over his mouth keeps him quiet. He hears Hayden quietly swear from where he’s sitting in the loveseat next to JJ. Ilya shushes Shane.

Truthfully, just the reminder that he would be seeing Hollander had his annoyance ebbing a bit. Maybe it was the omega’s pheromones, maybe it was just the man himself. But he always felt settled after seeing him. Maybe he could needle Hollander a bit, get him worked up to the point where he was spitting and hissing and almost itching for a fight. He loved when well-mannered Shane Hollander got pissy with him; it made it all the more satisfying when Ilya managed to wrangle him and reduce him to whimpers and begging. Now there was a thought. It almost had him grinning.
Ilya is not in a good mood. Neither is Shane, much to Ilya's chagrin. They bicker a bit, get a little rough with it and have some emotional revelations.
