Incredible work portraying the inner mind of Emet-Selch (obsessive, traumatised, haunted) post-sundering and how he spirals + how his brethren try to deal with it. In-game, Emet seems to generally be the most 'put-together' of the unsundered so it's super interesting to read about that not always having been the case, with his own (centuries-long) moment of weakness and mania. I also like how this work can be seen as a prequel to one of their earlier works (TWEWY) and a sequal to one of their other one-shots (BoaF). Amazingly written.

Beautifully written. Lots of smut but somehow also has wonderful character development? Almost every chapter can be read on its own but still it forms a very cohesive story-telling. Very enjoyable for people who like both smut and bawling your eyes out.
