As much as Adrien wished for freedom, running around in a leather skin-tight catsuit with fake ears and a mask was not what he planned on. He didn't like people seeing his face. He had been concealed his entire life, even taking on Homeschooling instead of going in person. And even though the mask would cover that, it didn't stop him from being uncomfortable.
The first time he had transformed, he almost had a panic attack. His eyes were so GREEN, his suit was so TIGHT, and his hair was so FLUFFY! He wanted to say he hated it, but...
Why was this happening to him? Adrien hadn't done anything to deserve this nightmare!
Adrien had mixed feelings about being a superhero. On one hand, it was great! Being able to help people was always something that he had wanted to do! But the problem with helping a large community was that you would have to be known. And that part didn't appeal to Adrien.
Eventually, Plagg convinced Adrien to at least give being a superhero a try. Adrien agreed reluctantly, only saying yes because if he didn't, he would have a whole lot of guilt afterwards for not choosing to help people.
