Summary
The Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. The stained glass windows had gunshots in them by the time the 141 raided it, searching for a man as irredeemable as the Devil himself. God doesn’t mean anything, and torture was only one method of getting anything out of the man they were chasing, information towards the next hell they’d walk into together.
Piety in the sense that it had to be together.
Old-school in the sense that he didn’t want to go first.
Damned in the way that he didn’t.
God-like in the way that there was some warmth on that day as bare hand met bare hand, passing another cartridge between the two of them. "You’ve got the better shot, anyway."
Or: a one-shot in which I believe in Ghost/Roach explored each other's bodies, though tragedy befell them before they got out of tradition. Old school soldier boys, live your truth while you still can. I love you.

Summary
A "forced vacation" is what Ghost called it when Gary told him that he wasn't going home - that he was going to stay with Ghost and Soap. Gary didn't make it easy on Ghost. He fought it at every angle he could.. but Ghost is too good.
So now Gary's home with his large, caring, compassionate, understanding family, working on their apple orchard. It's the easiest work he's dealt with since he turned 18 and joined the military. But his family life is proving difficult when he realizes how much he's missed since he's been gone. He's learning about his family, their lives, their struggles, and secrets they hold.
And much to Gary's dismay, he's learning things about himself that he's not sure he's ready to know yet. He liked it much better when he was too busy with the task force to think about himself.

Summary
In theory, it’s an easy plan of action: Soap heals with Ghost by his side and life goes back to the way it was before. Effortless and efficient, just like how they’ve always handled tough missions.
But with a newly broken brain, pent-up feelings, and a possible medical discharge looming on the horizon, everything is often easier said than done.

Summary
Harumasa furrows his brow at the cartoon playing on the television, confused on what’s happening due to the fact that Wise has been running his fingers through his hair this entire time. Between that and the quiet hum of the humidifier that Wise had bought specifically for when he spent the night, Harumasa was finding it difficult to keep his eyes open.
In the past three months, Harumasa had slept over at Wise’s at least six times–tonight being the seventh–and he’ll probably never get sick of the little moments like these. Head resting on Wise’s lap, Harumasa engulfed in one of the Proxy’s oversized sweaters as they watch some random show and Wise’s fingers buried in his hair. Their relationship was still brand new–they’d only confessed their feelings for each other and started dating two months ago–but with how well he slept, curled up next to the Proxy, he was heavily considering just moving in.
