A late night out in rainy New York. Jacob and Sam don't talk about what happened eight weeks ago- the hurried, hungry surrender to want that Jacob feels so guilty for and Sam seems to have only endured. Instead, they drink. Sweet red wine with notes of honey, more and more, until it all becomes a blur and Sam slumps against Jacob, making a most desperate demand. It's obscene. And irresistible.
OR: unethical, wine-infused Jam with a side of banter and lore, followed by their first time fucking, overly eager service topping (by Jacob), begging, praise and degradation. And yes, Jacob is in love with Sam and yes, he has an existential crisis over it and yes, Sam is the bigger pervert and no, Jacob can't deny his Sam a single wish because yes, Sam is his baby.

But it wasn’t true. He loved Lestat so much he sometimes felt like the weight of it crushed him. He could hardly breathe, sometimes, blindsided by his love for Lestat, could feel it swirling inside of him, trying to make its way out, ready to split his skin open with how powerful it was. Louis hadn’t always been honest about it but it had always been true nevertheless.
or, Louis doesn't tell Lestat he loves him enough. He decides to change that.
