As he landed on the carpet with a small oof, xyx’s lips curved in a grin you barely caught before he flipped your positions.

He gave you yet another of those flimsy smiles. Something inside you ached, the longing almost tangible, at the polished look of it. You were sure, even as your mind was emptied of any knowledge of him, that this man once wouldn’t have given out such meaningless smiles too easily.
“I’ve missed your voice. It’s been so long.” His ruby eyes locked with yours, an unreadable gleam in them. “Keeping this mansion perfect, until the day you return. I worked hard every day.”
“It made me weary, for it was a long, long time.”

Your parents stressed you on and on about school, and even though emotionally you became very drained, it paid off when you graduated at the top of your class and you received a full ride to your first pick college, U. A.. You were very sheltered, but you did manage to sneak around and learn some things about the actual world around you, but not enough to quench your curiosity.
You’re hoping that college will give you some experience to grow more as a person, and hopefully, to get yourself out of this bubble your parents and friends placed you in. You were tired of being so clueless about the world, but little did you know your curiosity would lead to your life being turned upside down…
