Summary: This is a Mario AU. Luigi, with his brother Mario and their friend Peach, are a team of archaeologists who explore various parts of the world. Their latest adventure has brought them to an ancient temple located in the Amazon Rainforest.
As they reach the old structure and go inside, Luigi keeps hearing his name in a whisper, before then being separated from his friends. What he finds as he works to free his companions and himself is beyond anything he would have ever thought he’d discover. Rated T to be safe.

Summary
After enduring a brutal defeat, Bowser has seemingly turned over a new leaf. The citizens of Mushroom Kingdom are wary of this, but a peace treaty has been signed between the Mushroom and Koopa kingdoms and a celebration will be held to commemorate the alliance of the once opposing kingdoms.
Luigi has been tasked with personally delivering the invitation for Princess Peach’s ball to celebrate their newfound peace to King Bowser. During his time at the Koopa King’s castle when the chance to get to know each other better arises, a shift happens between them. Unintended openness, kindness, the telling of secrets, and more is revealed, and they realize that perhaps there is more to the other than meets the eye.
I don't know much about Mario. I didn’t grow up on the games or anything. Because of this, I am sure there will be many things that aren’t accurate in this fic, but I am writing this for fun so I hope others enjoy it too even if it is inaccurate.
