Summary
“How did you find me?” breathes Porsche. Hollow he sounds. Thin. Yet he gathers the sunlight to him as he stands there. And his voice still has the old resonance, its pure undertone of pain.
“Do you really think there’s a place in this world where I wouldn’t find you?”[Or: Nine years ago, Porsche walked away from Bangkok—and from Kinn. Now he runs a beach bar on the sunlit shores of the San Jorge Gulf, a world away from everything he used to be. But when Kinn turns up without warning, the past stirs—along with the possibility that some love stories aren’t over, just unfinished.]

Summary
In which Sokka has daddy issues, goes to college, experiences life-threatening danger, and gets therapy. In that order.
Routine is easy to find, but it makes Sokka uneasy. He wakes up, goes to class, hangs out with Teo and Haru, hangs out with Suki, works, and doesn’t talk to his family. He misses the kids, but every time he sees them, he sees Hakoda and Bato, and he does not want to have a conversation with them.
Sokka learns how to make all four of his newfound friends laugh. It’s his favorite way to know someone. Teo and Haru love making fun of the Mechanist, politics, and they have a wealth of inside jokes Sokka is only half-privy to. Suki, quite frankly, loves watching Sokka make an idiot of himself. Zuko is the hardest person to make laugh, with a penchant for dry humor, but every huff and chuckle feels like a massive victory. It makes Sokka feel useful.

Summary
“What have you gotten yourself into this time, P’ Pai?”
As if they’d been waiting for the cue, police sirens make themselves heard at the end of the street, and it doesn’t take too long until the unmistakable blue and red lights start to be visible through the window. The look that he sends in Prapai’s direction must be exasperated enough, going by the way he folds into himself just so and starts to pick at his nails.
“In my defense, it wasn’t anything illegal” he stops, seems to reconsider, and pulls a face before saying “at least… not my family’s level of illegal?”Prapai has somehow made an habit of asking Sky to marry him. The biggest problem (among many others)? They aren't even dating in the first place.
