Summary
Creius wrapped a hand around Name Day's arm and waited for Paravyan to get his hands underneath the man before they slowly sat him up. Name Day shut his eyes immediately, groaning, and Creius shifted closer just as the man slumped against him. He lifted a hand to run his fingers through Name Day's hair, "you said you were fine."
"Mmm… I was fine…" Name Day murmured. "I did say the heat makes me tired."
"I doubt the heat gave you a fever," Creius argued gently. His attention was caught a moment later by Merel returning with fresh water in hand. He took the flask from her and offered it to Name Day. "Drink. Slowly."-----
Name Day catches a fever, and Creius takes care of him.

"Ah, so he's still not taking care of himself." Yermolai leans back in the chair and kicks his feet up onto Creius' bed. "One would think that you waking up would mean he doesn't have to keep a vigil all day every day."
Creius hums, "I almost died and was then in a coma for five weeks, I think he's just trying to adjust to that. He's got his friends looking out for him though, so I'm not too worried."
"Liar." Creius scowls and Yermolai laughs, waving his hand. "Sorry, but you aren't subtle, Creius. I watched you nearly launch yourself out of bed when he stumbled my last visit."-----
Creius recovers from his near-death experience, worrying about his beloved as he struggles to move past it.

That was what people in relationship did, right? Look after each other? It wasn't like Creius knew exactly what he and Name Day were, and he was almost certain that Name Day also didn't know. They were navigating it together though, through the ups and downs as they learnt about each other and the feelings they felt.

A clap of thunder sounds outside, illuminating the bridge with a burst of light, and Olruggio stops. His eyes flash to the window, as if he’s only just noticed the storm, and he goes very still. Then he rounds on them and demands, “How long has it been raining?”
It's storming outside, and Qifrey hasn't come home.

“Ilya,” Shane says, propping himself up on his elbows. “Ilya, wake up.”
Ilya makes a pained noise, eyes still shut. “I shut curtains already.”
“It’s not that. Ilya, hey. Don’t go back to sleep.” Ilya tries to bury back into Shane’s chest, but adrenaline knifes through Shane’s hangover long enough for him to peel Ilya off and roll him into his back. Ilya blinks blearily up at him, starfished in the sheets. Beautiful and naked and missing his mother’s cross.
OR: When Ilya’s cross goes missing after the Centaurs celebrate their first Stanley Cup win, Shane is determined to get it back. And so are the Centaurs. And the rest of Ottawa.

At precisely thirty-eight minutes past two in the morning, Caleb jolts awake, sitting up in bed and heaving for air as if his life depends on it, chest rising and falling at an unnaturally fast pace.
At precisely thirty-nine minutes past two in the morning, he has to bite down hard on his own tongue to keep himself from vomiting, feeling so sick with himself that bile begins to rise in his throat.
He blinks two, three times, trying to stop the hot angry tears that are pooling in the corners of his eyes, threatening to spill and run down his cheeks at any second. His hands go to his head, pressing at his ears to try and stop the ringing, to block out the screams that still haunt and follow him, even now that he’s awoken from his nightmare.
Caleb awakens from a nightmare. Molly is already awake, and helps him out of it.
