He isn’t ready. He never would be ready. But his symphony is finished, and hopefully waiting, back where the finished stories go. Tommy hopes that one day, he’ll meet them again, his family, his best friends, more than that, as if he were connected by love. And if he ever finds them again, he would hold them tight, and apologize over and over and over again about how fallible he was. And hopefully, they would forgive him.
