There were times V had watched Lizzy’s eyes come alight like a predator in waiting, preparing a sharp, devastating blow to some poor drone’s ego. And besides, what ‘simple prey’ could bend a creature such as herself to her every whim?"***

She stuck out like a sore thumb from where she lay across Lizzy’s now mussed up sheets, a large, beastly creature that picked at deadly fangs with one, long, sabre claw.
“Besides, after what happened last time, I can’t imagine people will be too happy about me being there.”***
