Keith is sick, and someone comes to check in on him.
He's just about to try to smother himself again when his door whooshes open. His eyes dart automatically towards the door, and he squints at the figure. It's tall and skinny and dark, which leaves only one person it could be. Lance.
His heart does a tiny little kick in his chest, and he has to redouble his efforts not to cover his face again. Of all of the people who would come to check on him, it would be Lance.

Summary
Lance quickly finds Keith’s communication signal and hits call.
A few seconds later, he realizes what he’s just done, panics, and immediately slams the 'end call' button.
“Shit!” he hisses through his teeth, throwing the tablet on the bed and recoiling away from it like it’s a poisonous snake rather than innocent alien technology. Its screen goes blank again, wiped clean the way he wishes his impulsive action could be. “What am I doing?”

"Huh." Hunk leans back and takes an impressive chomp of Keith's pastry, devouring half of it in one go. "I've got nothing. Though, I gotta say I'm surprised you two didn't do anything for your anniversary."
Keith knocks over his mug in a extremely rare display of clumsiness. "What?" he asks, horrified.
"Your anniversary, yesterday? I was going to cook you guys a nice dinner, but Lance said you were going out." Hunk tosses the last corner of the pastry delicately into his mouth before peering closely at Keith's pained expression. "Ohhhh," he says in revelation. "I get it now. But, hey! At least we solved the mystery for why he's mad at you."
Or: Keith forgets his and Lance's first-year anniversary and struggles to make amends.
