Summary
When Jess has his welcome dinner at the Gilmore house he's at his wits end. He'd just been sent away from his home because his mom's new boyfriend didn't want a kid around and somehow before he'd even met anyone, he'd already labeled the problem child. Sure, he's got an attitude and walls built up around him a mile high, he'll admit that freely, but he'd never done anything to deserve his mom telling his uncle that he was 'too hard to handle. That's why, when Lorelai comes out with her 'well intentioned' talk on the porch he freaks and says way more about his life than he wanted anyone to know. With Lorelai knowing more about the truth of things, she's not going to let this kid get beat up anymore than he already has been. How does that change things? How does that change his interactions with Rory, and most importantly, how does that bring them together?
