Summary
Soap who all his life had been the weak link, the one that talked too much, was too awkward, never fit in, never was able to defend himself against the dragons that lived in his world. Which sucked even more so that his adoptive father, John Price, who had rescued him from a dragon attack that had taken the lives of Soaps bio parents, was the chief of Berk, the island they lived on. Soap was banned from defending Berk against dragons, based on all the failed attempts, and was left to help Nikolai, Price’s second in command to help make and craft weapons to defend themselves. Everyday he’d see the kids his age, Alejandro, Rudy, Gaz, Roach, and…. Ghost. Ghost who Soap had tried to impress over and over again, trying to kill a dragon to maybe gain his attention, but no, Soap just kept screwing up every chance he got. Until he snuck out one night during an attack, and managed to down the one and only Night Fury, it would be better if someone believed him.

Blood trickles freely down the side of his face and fire finally returns to his eyes. Her heart leaps. Zoro is back. Her lips twitch up as Zoro links their hands together, grip tight and determined.
“Together.” The word slurs from his blood stained lips.
Vivi nods, squeezing his hand, and steps forward. Together. They’ll fix this. They’ll save their nakama.
