“You’re bleeding”, Will whispers, and then, as if the realization strikes just now as he says it out loud, his voice increases in volume, but shakes harder all the more, “Mike, there’s— there’s blood pouring from your mouth.”
Mike would have been perfectly content with never exploring the depth of his repressed feelings, if it wasn't for the deadly flowers blooming in his lungs.

Summary
Shadow Milk was not a man who understood the concept of mercy.
To him, it was a word soaked in bitterness, a concept so foreign and sharp, stinging even in thought. Mercy never came for him when he needed it most. Now, with the collapse of his spire, Shadow Milk is left with nothing – except a hand, soft and steady, extended in the wake of ruin. But trust doesn’t rebuild itself overnight. Not after betrayal. Not after not knowing anything else for centuries.
It falls to Pure Vanilla to tend to wounds long left to rot. But does a mere healer such as himself have the ability to achieve that?

Summary
After the war that either banished or destroyed the Beast cookies, the Ancients fall back into their normal lives, and achieve greatness in their own right - Whether it be about their kingdoms, their families, their friendships, or fortune in adventure and fame, The Five seemed to have recovered entirely from their encounters with their souljam counterparts.
However, over the years, the weight of one particular Beast began to take its toll on the shoulders of Pure Vanilla Cookie. He found himself thinking of his souljam counterpart in his daily activities, and seeing him in every part of his day.
Pure Vanilla was a healer. A savior to his people. A figure of greatness who couldn't save the one cookie whom he understood more than anyone else: Shadow Milk Cookie.
When a similar cookie of demeanor and figure falls at his front steps, could he do it over again? Would Pure Vanilla be able to save the unsavable? Even if Shadow Milk Cookie couldn't remember a thing?
