Summary
As a journalist, Dipper is sent to a Romanian village called "Midnight Hollow" to research the mysterious disappearances that are happening there. Excited, he takes the first plane to Romania and agrees to live in the local castle as a guest of Count Cipher. People in the village warn and beg him to stay away from that castle, but he ignores them and goes there anyway. However, he soon regrets his decisions. Because when things take a sudden turn, Dipper finds out that the shadows here are more dangerous than they seem and that it is better to watch your neck...

“I didn’t mean to bring you so much trouble…” Marinette said shyly as she looked away towards the street – the view of carnival Venice in the evening from the water was something absolutely amazing.
“I don’t feel like I’m in trouble.” The man said in a serious voice, and took her hand, causing Marinette to turn to face him again and her lips part, drawing in air. “Will it sound weird if I said that I can’t help but feel like we’ve met before?”
“Would it sound weird if I said I felt the same?” She spoke softly, mesmerized by his eyes and the magic of the moment.
The man’s gaze slid down to her lips and Marinette caught her breath. She, too, was staring at his lips, and her mouth went completely dry...

“I can handle it by myself!” He declared, probably trying to sound menacing, but the girl saw that he was arguing with her with his last strength.
“Well, you clearly can’t!” She insisted, starting to lose her temper. “You need a doctor!”
“Then you will be my doctor.” Felix breathed out, closing his eyes again. “After all, it’s your fault that I got sick.”
“Mine?!” Marinette exclaimed again in disbelief. “How is it my fault?!”
“Forget it.” Felix grumbled dismissively without opening his eyes. “Just make a cool bath for me. Lots of water should take the heat off.”
“We’ll come back to this conversation when you feel better!” The girl stated, pleased that at least he cooperated with her in something.
After all, the first priority was still to bring down his fever.
