Summary
I was supposed to be doing stories for each flower and decided to do chrysanthemums next, but didn't know what story I would make with it. So I made this instead! It's not a story, and to be honest, I don't know what I SHOULD call it since it isn't. It's very poetic though, I didn't know I could write like this. This one is very short though. Enjoy! :D

Summary
An empire goes to war and during a castle break in, the king's life is put in danger. The king survives due to his only daughter's incredible intelligence and quick thinking, but her smarts aren't enough to save them both. Sadly, the very young girl passes away and the very day that the war is declared won and done her funeral takes place, the citizens flooding the streets with her favorite flower, the Poppy. No one notices the irony that the Poppy is also known as a symbol of rememberence, but either way, it is quite fitting for the "celebration" of a newly won war. All the girl wants to know is why no one is happy that they won. Or why no one can hear her. Or why the name on the headstone is so familiar. Or why her dad is crying so much. Or why she's cold. Or why- okay, yeah, there's a lot she wants to know. If only she could just remember.
