Summary
He wipes his tears and collects himself “I don’t want to cry anymore, I just want to think of you and smile, I know you’d rather me smiling instead of crying” he gave a bittersweet smile to the sky hoping that maybe, just maybe she would be able to see it.

Summary
Zoro was the only adult of the pack, which made him the Omega responsible for looking after those unhinged pups. Except for Sanji, as he was an adult Alpha who knew his way around perfectly.
Or that was what he thought, until he discovered that Sanji was also a pup just like the others.
That changed everything.
_
Or; Zoro suddenly treating Sanji as the pup he was, after months of thinking he was an adult.

Summary
Hope flutters in his chest.
Maybe he is sick, then.
He knows his body isn't supposed to, but maybe that’s why his head hurts and his skin feels so hot. Maybe that’s why he keeps tripping and skidding his knees during training. That’s why his performance is so poor. He’s sick. That must be it.
But deep down, he knows better.
***
Sanji knows that he’s been a failure for far longer than he’s had a headache.

Summary
Robin props her chin in her hands and looks at him, eyes flickering across his smooth, unlined face, his perfectly blond hair now grown just past his shoulders and parted the other way. “You know, I said once that you would have a fascinating death someday.”
Sanji can’t hold back his snort. “Guess you were wrong about that.”
He looks away and chooses to stare off into the distance instead. Inhales, exhales. Inhales, exhales. Again and again and again. He isn’t expecting a response, so he’s surprised when Robin breaks the stillness settled around them.
“No,” Robin says thoughtfully. “I don’t think I am.”
As it turns out, his genetic mutations have long-lasting consequences.
Or: Sanji, and everything that comes after.

Summary
They have to be strong, always. It's as much their jobs as Captain or Cook or professional nap-taker. They have to stand tall no matter who they face, because if they didn't who would the others cling to when they fall? They have to hold firm no matter the pressure, because if they didn't who would mold their crew back together when they break? But there are always those quiet, vulnerable moments. The ones where Zoro thinks he'll never be good enough, no matter how much he trains. Where Sanji's past comes flooding back in tidal waves of nightmares that haunt him to the point of insomnia. Where the weight of all he's lost, of those he couldn't save, dangles from Luffy's shoulders. Who are they to find solace in? Maybe they can find it in each other because after all, you don't have to be firm for a boulder or a mold for a cast. You don't have to stand tall in the face of a mountain. You don't have to be strong for the strong.
Or
Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji have their bad days too. Luckily they always have each other to lean on.
