Summary
The apocalypse started while Tommy was in school. Every kid who lived inside the sanctuary (?) of the school had already assumed their family was dead, and almost everyone outside had also been separated from their family.
Everyone was searching for someone.
Tommy became the social glue that kept the school from becoming boring. Even somehow avoiding punishment from the leader when Tommy got annoying.
And Wilbur, someone he texted, was out there searching for his brother, and was going to visit Tommy.
Raiders roam nearby the school..
But maybe, just maybe, the raiders were more familiar to some than they knew.OR: Tommy + Politics in school = Chaos. Wilbur outside alone hiding a secret looking for BROHER. And after a LOT of excruciating delaying, family they all will find :D (Kinda…Maybe.. We don’t have an outline guys trust the process)

Tommy was a normal vampire hunter who simply hunted for the money. How else would he survive? But when he finds an injured bat and saves it, he discovers he just saved Wilbur, and this random vampire would not leave his house. Queue the family bonding and surprise adoption.
Or: Wilbur gets hurt and decides the kid who saved him is now his brother whether they like it or not.
Tommy wants a peaceful life. He does not get a peaceful life. He never does. What did you expect? This is like all the other tommy centric fics. Our boi never gets a break.
