Summary
When a spell goes wrong, Harry and Hermione get stuck in a parallel universe where their adventures are a worldwide known fictional story. What's even worse, they're stuck with the spell-caster himself, Draco Malfoy. While the three await their rescue, Harry discovers some interesting news he was too oblivious to pick up on.
Harry thought he saw Malfoy’s fingers rub Hermione’s chin, but the movement was so small he must have imagined it. Or it was Malfoy’s hand, twitching from the exhaustion of having to care for someone other than himself for once. This was Malfoy for Merlin’s sake – he didn’t do random acts of kindness, there was always an angle with him.

“I asked first.” He used his negotiations voice. Inej remained silent, and Kaz could see she was weighing her options.

“Stay still!” He commanded, inches from her face, and she obeyed.The logical side of her mind was screaming that she had no reason to listen to him and that she should struggle harder. But his hands were warm and positioned so hers didn’t scrape against the damp and dirty brick, even as she tugged at them. His body was close enough for her to feel the heat radiating from him, but not close enough to brush against her. He was in complete control of the situation, and she had none. And even if she thought it should make her anxious, like all lack of control did, she locked eyes with him and relaxed.
