“Maybe not on purpose,” Chim chimes in, “but, see, the thing is, when you flirt with our Buck, his brain turns off. He just bluescreens.”
“You’re flustering the poor boy, Eddie,” Hen adds. “And it’s making him dumb.”
“-er,” Chim adds.
“Wha- Buck isn’t flustered.”
Eddie is flustered. His face feels hot. He takes another sip of his coffee to give his hands something do to, but that only makes him feel warmer. Shit.
Hen levels him with the most deadpan look. “Last week he walked into a stop sign after you called him ‘big boy’ on a call.”
Eddie nearly spits out his coffee.
Or: the one where Eddie subconsciously flirts with Buck without realizing and Buck is actively trying not to have a heart attack at work about it

Based off a prompt from Dragon Age Kink Meme (Round 5, Page 19): 'Dorian has been down South long enough to understand that people here aren't so judgmental about two people of the same gender being together. When Cullen initiates something between them, he thinks he's being courted, he thinks he's dating Cullen, that they are in a proper relationship, that what they have could very easily become love, heck, it IS love for him.
Until Cullen tells him "thanks for all the shags, buddy, but I've decided to pursue a relationship with The Inquisitor. You know, a proper relationship. Not what we had that was just sex and nothing more, because you're from Tevinter and wouldn't possibly want more.'

Summary
Ohhh, David realises as he gets handed a plate. Okay, I got it. He was surprised that Bobby’s son hadn’t come up when Michael first mentioned his children given how much emphasis he put on the positive co-parenting relationship their family unit strived to maintain. But then again – Buck was obviously much older than Michael and Athena’s two children if he had a child the same age as Harry. The step/co-parenting dynamic would clearly be completely different than it was with May and Harry.
Or,
The one where David is determined to prove that he’s in it with Michael for the long-haul, and that includes accepting and caring about the children of the Grant-Nash household. All 3 of them.
