Summary
Strange things are going on in Gotham: A series of crimes linked only by a sentence uttered. A drug that no one seems to be selling, but lots of people are taking. An old enemy reborn, or someone pretending to be him. Graffiti that can't be photographed by normal means. Bartenders disappearing without a trace. John Constantine is also there.
Danny wants nothing to do with any of it. He just wants to sell burgers and survive. Actually, he'd like to go home again, but since that isn't possible, he'll stick with burgers.
Gotham's vigilante's have other plans.
This is why Danny doesn't do favors.

“Anyway,” Dick continued, “As I was saying, pretty sure that our friend Not Sal took the Boomerang.”
“Yeah.” Jason crossed his arms. “What about it?”
“Well, it almost definitely honed in on him since it hit him in the head, and then he took it with him after being all ‘I’m mysterious, stop looking for me, wahh I’m a walking Bruce Wayne Adoption Case waiting to happen’.”
“The point, Dick.”
Dick smiled, ready to drive The Point home. “So I’m gonna say I was right and we could have used the Boomerang to track down Not Sal, aka Lazarus Kid, aka New Brother to Be!”
The first kernel popping underscored Dick’s very apt, completely faultless logic.

The sun has set for today; your Aunt Maude has lost her sister. That is a different pain—God’s will, we wanted to give you a sister or brother but the pain she is feeling is not one you can understand. Have sympathy, if you are out of empathy.”

You think Uchiha have never traveled time? Don’t underestimate us! As the clan head, it’s my job to identify when this sort of shit happens.” He eyes Shisui, who gulps, now intimidated beyond belief. “That’s a decent cover story though. We’ll go with that with outsiders.”
“Are you serious?” Izuna hisses at his brother, who just shrugs back. “I cannot believe I’m only just hearing this now. You suck.”
“Special clan head privileges,” Madara says smugly.

“Brazening it out might be fine in our compound, but I wouldn’t rely on it outside,” Kagami cautions. “Be too bold in your reach around here and a Senju will chop your hand off.”
Shisui shrugs. “It worked on Tobirama.”
After he’s done spitting and spluttering out his tea — and Shisui stops having dramatics about it hitting his face — Kagami says, hoarsely. “Tobirama? You’ve met Tobirama.” He considers his deliberately annoying and loud great-grandnephew. “There’s no way you’ve met Tobirama.”
“Sure did!” Shisui insists. “I weirded him out, he bought me noodles, and we parted ways. Simple as that!”

What she definitely did not sign up for were three weird Uchihas trying to flirt with her. But that's what she got anyways.

There were a few other people in the shop, spread out over the highchairs and lush couches (which did not have curious stains and stuffing falling out of them). All looked tired and cranky, and there was a suspicious looking guy with white hair in the corner, bobbing his head to whatever he was listening to from his headphones and blinking wide, violet eyes that darted all around the coffee shop in a way that made Sakura highly suspect he’d taken some interesting drugs in the past few hours. Or maybe just had too many coffee drinks. Same thing, really.
