He turned around almost instantly, seeming to remember something but looked up into Malfoy’s eyes first. There was a glint of trouble in Nott’s gaze and Hermione wondered just what he was planning.
“I couldn’t trouble you for one of those apple pies, could I Granger?” He asked. Malfoy’s stare into the back of Nott’s head then turned feral. He looked to be extremely impatient to get Nott out of there and back to their own seats.
“Of course, help yourself” she offered without really even thinking and lifted her tupperware box up to Nott’s hand so that he could easily withdraw one for himself. His long fingers wrapped delicately around one of the small pastry cases before he took a bite, looking directly at Malfoy’s face and making a small moan of satisfaction.
“Mmm you should really give these a try, Draco. I think you’d love them. So sweet...”
Hermione, without a word, offered for him to take one of the sweet treats as well but he simply looked at her silently as if all words had escaped him. A short shake of his head followed, hardly a polite decline but she didn’t mind. She’d been too consumed by that look in his eyes as he wet his bottom lip with his tongue to notice his reaction anyway.
