Summary
Now, regarding the Imperial Court, there were only three noteworthy things they would tell you if you asked them for such information:
As the Chief of War, they spend more time trying to convince the Emperor not to go to war than to, well, go to war (a work in progress. They have yet to succeed in the art of persuasion).
One of the Emperor's advisors has, allegedly, done a 180 in personality. Everyone is (rightfully) afraid of her. Unfortunately for them, she seems quite hellbent on getting them to start a revolution, and somehow they are more afraid of saying no than the idea of being executed for being compliant to her ideas.
There is a new servant. Not only does he keep climbing on the horse stables instead of cleaning them, he has got quite the knack for distracting them from their duties. Unfortunately for them, he's quite charming, ergo, forgivable.
In other words, this is a soap opera about the Emperor’s Palace in the Sui Dynasty. Featuring yours truly, a perplexed Chief of War, the omitted advisor Ivory Lady, and the Six Eared Macaque who is only there for a jolly good time.

Summary
In only the few years they had known each other, they had gotten quite accustomed to each other’s habits and interests. But although it was all more than the songs Vox remembered the Radio Demon used to play, it was all he had to recall those memories by.
Alternative summary: An Alastor and Vox backstory oneshot in regards to how for the majority of his songs, Vox’s genre seems to be big band jazz. Set in the 1950s-60s, in the years Alastor and Vox had become fond of each other. Not so much a fully fledged backstory, but more like snip-bits before and during their fall out, and a little bit a long way afterwards.

Summary
He is at fault for lots of things, that he’s sure. But it comes to a point where he's being faced with it head on almost every night and in every moment of darkness, and he’s starting to get bothered by it. Although they seem quite content with temporary solutions and adjustments, he is hard pressed to agree. In fact, he doesn’t at all.

Summary
With fragments of the five stones finding their ways into the bodies of everything sentient being that inhabited the earth, it paved the way for individuals to either harness powers they would have never been destined to wield, or a boost to their original powers and make them stronger.
In the case of the Mayor, there only comes a question whether or not these new unprecedented circumstances have changed whether or not they could be on par with Macaque in battle.
There's really only one way to find out.
