Scott and logan had never been friends. Cyclops and Wolverine only tolerated eachother for the sake of everyone else, but they had never truly been friendly with eachother. Of course, they had some respect for eachother. Logan somewhat respected Scott's power and position as a leader, and Scott respected Logan for his strength and independence. But more often or not they where fighting.
