Things are going well.
Well enough that he’s started driving his own car instead of relying on public transport, which feels like a rite of passage into adulthood, even if adulthood seems to involve a lot more bills and a lot more lectures about responsibility than he anticipated. Minho looked at said toaster oven with as much hate as one could have for an inanimate object. Then, on instinct, he looked at his broken, grown-man oven. “I miss you, my love.”
