“Ye wear that thing all the time, Ghost?” Soap asked, his bright blue eyes catching the glint of the light like the necklace did. His gaze lingered on where the chain was wound through Ghost’s fingers.
“I’ve never seen him without it,” Gaz said between them. Price gave a nod from the other side of Soap. They were all seated in a row at the bar, the golden glow of the lights casting everything in a warm haze.
“Funny, didn’t think ye were Catholic,” Soap licked his lips like he was nervous. His eyes still hadn’t left the small outline of Saint George.

“I can’t believe—this is unacceptable! I’m going to call the flight attendant over and get this sorted out right now!”
Flustered and cornered, Shane injects his Captain Voice into the conversation. “Ma’am, I understand that you’re upset, but I paid for this seat and am going to stay here. You’ll have to find someone else willing to change places or just fly with the seat you booked. I’m sorry I couldn’t help you.”
She hisses like a goddamn tea kettle, and starts to say, “You are the most selfish man I’ve ever—” when another voice behind her says, “You are blocking my seat. Move.”
Shane and the woman turn to assess the new arrival. It turns out that his seat partner is well above six feet tall, ripped as hell, and knows how to deliver an excellent bitch face. He’s also the hottest man that Shane has ever seen in real life, including a chance run-in with Jensen Ackles at a Stars game.
Or, still!famous Shane meets non!famous Ilya on a cursed flight from Ottawa to Boston and kind of (totally) falls in love with him at first sight (and first chirp)

Summary
A warring states period has recently ended and peace between various cultivation sects, human royalty, and the demonic realm is tenuous at best. Yue Qingyuan is the only cultivator-king, and he has been looking for the elusive cultivation master he had lived beside years ago before his ruthless rise to power. Unfortunately for him, Shen Jiu never had been a particularly forgiving person when crossed and Yue Qingyuan had made a devastating mistake. Unfortunately for everyone else, telling a king no was not the easiest thing and Yue Qingyuan sends out a team to force their reunion.
Shen Yuan and Shen Jiu have always been close and nearly identical in appearance. Shen Yuan knows that his brother would do just about anything to avoid Yue Qingyuan. He decides to pretend to be his brother when the king’s men capture him. He transmigrated at a young age, and knows to be wary of the too-friendly "Qi-ge".
When a stranger offers to take him away, Shen Yuan trusts his life to them despite knowing the nefarious characters that existed in a world based on 'Proud Immortal Demon Way'. Taking his chances lands him in the care of Luo Binghe and on a path he never expected.

It is an incredibly frustrating thing, to have the knowledge of how to do something, without the practical skill needed to do so.
Viktor had tried several iterations of a new brace for his leg with what he had at his disposal, but all of them lacked the strength for true support, let alone longevity. This one had outlasted all the others at least, but had given out at what had to be the most inconvenient moment possible.
At least it is still mostly holding his weight, and he takes care to shift his cane tight to his hip to provide as much help as possible after he feels the give and bend of one of the bars. “Shit.”
Or: Viktor accidentally falls into a partnership with a blacksmith, after his leg brace breaks in the middle of the city.

And he has never had sex before.
Or: Sokka balks at the Firenation's terrible views on sex, and dicks his boyfriend down exactly the way he deserves.
