Summary
Having time off from missions to laze around and catch up on Dog Cops was always something Clint enjoyed. Not so much, however, due to being sick as a dog after a minor mishap on a routine mission. At least Steve and Lucky are warm and don't mind sharing the couch with a rather cuddly archer. Also, Steve makes a soup to die for.

Summary
After Ultron had sent them all into hiding on Clint's farm, the last thing Steve thought he'd have on his mind was a brand of soda. Also, he learned rather quickly that chickens could be terrifying and definitely lived up to the nickname of "tiny dinosaurs". At least Clint was there to bail him out.

Summary
Sometimes when he has an anxiety attack he can feel the water against his skin from where it had leaked through the suit at the bottom of the ocean. He tries not to think about it. He tries to throw himself into rebuilding the Stark Tower into the Avengers Tower. Steve's brief after-mission visit was a welcome change, but when he asks about how it went, he doesn't expect to hear him describe how he'd fallen into a river on the assignment.
He can taste salt water, now.

He'd learn later, long after the fall and the cold and the muzzle, that he'd experienced a bad Turn. That the mix of vampire blood and venom twisted him into a beast on that cold Brooklyn morning. He didn't know that then, however; all he knew was that his body was changing, teeth growing sharp and the hunger howling in his ears. The sunlight didn't bother him but it shone off his eyes, exposing him for the predator he was. It was hard to choke down the urge to bite when the scent of blood hung heavy in the air, but the protectiveness was stronger than the hunger. He told himself over and over that he'd never hurt Steve. Never.

Summary
When the call floated across the airways of a World War II plane trapped in the arctic, SHIELD wasn't the only one to answer. HYDRA, coiled deep inside the belly of SHIELD, struck hard and fast to ensure their claim on this valuable target, sending their best asset to secure the body of the long lost Captain Steve Rogers. When the supposedly-dead Captain America turns out to be very much alive and viable, HYDRA is quick to begin work on their newest and most dangerous weapon. However, the Captain's presence is having unforeseen effects on the Winter Soldier, melting the ice HYDRA has so carefully cultivated over the past seventy years, bringing out erratic, unpredictable behavior while the Captain slips between control and resistance. Two men, brothers both lost to the cold embrace of time and caught in the tendrils of HYDRA, must fight to survive in a world not their own.

Summary
Images, sounds, faces that weren't quite familiar yet impossible to forget were starting to surface. HYDRA and SHIELD had both fallen, entangled in each other's webs, leaving victims on both sides. The Winter Soldier had been abandoned, alone and confused and aching so much. Ghosts from the Winter Soldier's-- from Bucky's-- past were awakening. With nowhere to go, no one to report to, there is only one person he can seek out for answers- the man from the bridge with his bright eyes and gentle voice. The man he was supposed to kill.

Summary
The night had gone well enough, ending with Clint and Bucky both asleep on the couch after a movie with the rest of the team on assignment. Even though he was healing, Bucky kept a lot of his suffering to himself and it only became known when he slipped in front of his teammates. That was how Clint found out that his sniping companion had a serious issue when it came to breathing difficulties.

Summary
The war had been raging for years, drawing more than humans into the fray. The balance of the world has been shifted, as forces belonging to HYDRA and SHIELD fight for control. Steve had been orphaned by that same war, but despite his best efforts his health prevented him from trying to do his part. He'd been sheltered from most of the non-human peoples by his life in the city, but that all comes crumbling down when he encounters one of the rarest of beasts- a dragon. With wings that could crack through the sky and venom cold enough to suck the life out of all it touches, surely this creature can't be reasoned with or befriended... right?

It was supposed to be a quick assignment, in and out within three hours. It was a small installation of HYDRA holdouts, nothing they hadn't done a million times before. Some bad intelligence and information, however, sent the Avengers into the fray without knowing just what they were in for. Sniping is only effective when you aren't found, and hypothermia isn't fun.
