He might have earned some strange looks, or even questions, if he ever voiced his true opinion on the matter. Most people despise being ignored or forgotten. It’s an itch under the skin, a loneliness that weighs heavily.
But for Kuroko, it was different. Rather than an unfortunate trait, as some have called it, he always saw it as his way of living.

It was one of his rare days off. Unless discussed differently before those were usually reserved for special occasions. The flat was thoroughly cleaned, the food was on the stovetop, waiting to be reheated and the lights were dimmed to the level his partner always preferred. The flat was pleasantly warm, allowing him to clean in exactly the outfit his partner had dressed him in this morning.
