Summary
“No, I get it,” says Terezi amiably. “You want to get the band back together and then you want the band to play a song of forgiveness for you, with a bass line of love and a piccolo solo of tenderness and then the tiniest violin in the world will play a song of complete, utter pity for your-”

You playfully punched her arm. “Damn, Pyrope, you’re right. Maybe I’m losing my edge. I could learn a thing or two from you.”
The laugh she let out was the best sound you thought you’d ever heard. And you were the cause of it. You would give anything to make her laugh like that all the time.

“Here you go, son.” Chase holds out one of Beef’s little soccer balls. “Why don’t you go take Beef to play somewhere waterproof, and bring him back when you're done.”
“I can…I’m…” He looks at Robert. “Is that okay?”
“Of course.” Robert nods as he crouches to put Beef back on the ground, watching Waterboy slowly walk away with the dog following loyally at his feet.
“Is it just me, or is he raining more than usual?” Chase leans on the cubicle wall.
“I wanted to get him to open up.” Robert snaps.
“Kid was on his way to a panic attack.” He picks up a small scanner. “Go find him once Beef’s worked his magic.”
Robert looks at the scanner, and then at Chase. “You put a GPS tracker on my dog.”
“You told me to keep an eye on him.”Bookmarked by SnowyZ

Karkat wheels on him. “AND YOU. You’re too calm.”
Dave shrugs again. “Maybe I meditated.”
“Yes. Sure. Great. Let’s all believe Dave Strider decided to find inner peace TODAY of all days.”
Vriska tilts her head. “So what? Are you accusing us of something?”
“Oh, I’m not accusing,” Karkat says, stabbing the air with his finger. “I’m OBSERVING. You two vanished at the same time, came back at the same time, and you’re both WAY TOO QUIET.”
“Yeah,” Dave says slowly. “That’s called… coincidence.”
----What happens when eight Sburb players are stuck in adulthood, on a meteor, mid-game with Lord English arguments, games, movies, anger, boredom, and mild amounts of hormones? It turns into a real-life game of Clue, except instead of murder, it’s a romance between the two most unlikely paired, least romantic people on the meteor. How long can they lie until the meteor bursts into a comedic flame? More importantly, how long can Strider sidestep all of his confusing ambivalence towards Vriska?
