Summary
Being a professional Omega football player was exceedingly difficult, and most importantly, rare. Luka Modrić had defied the odds, being lauded as the first Omegan player and the highest-ranked one currently.
This fact naturally leads to some ignorance and bigotry towards Luka, most of which rolls right off his back.
Some pundits on TV say he doesn’t “let it stop him” as if to suggest he’s forgone his identity entirely for acclaim, but that couldn’t be further from the truth for Luka. Beyond the midfielder’s dominant playing style on the pitch, he was the most stereotypical Omega Sergio had ever known: touchy, affectionate, bubbly, and needy.
And these exact traits of Luka’s are driving Sergio Ramos crazy.
