“It’s going to be different, isn’t it,” he mused aloud, looking around at the remaining campers. There were barely twenty of them. Will nodded.
“Tell me about it. I’ve only got Kayla and Austin left to boss around. Whatever am I going to do with all this extra time on my hands?” He waggled his eyebrows suggestively at Nico, and the son of Hades felt himself blush again.
“We should go,” he replied, gesturing at the other campers, who were trooping back towards the dining pavilion for breakfast. The son of Apollo looked over, his expression partly disappointed and partly approving.
“You’re right. We can’t have you missing breakfast now, can we. All right, let’s go.” Nico turned to start trudging up the hill when a warm hand wrapped itself around his wrist, pulling him around. He gasped when Will pressed a brief kiss to his nose.
“All right, now we can go,” the son of Apollo commented smugly. Nico gaped at him outraged, but nevertheless allowed himself to be pulled along by their intertwined fingers.

“So...” Stefan dragged out before grinning sharply, “How’s Nico and Will doin’?”
The effect was almost instantaneous. Most of them groaned, a few of them squealed, and others, like Sophia, only groaned and buried their face in a pillow.
Because, as they all perfectly knew, Will and Nico were perfect for each other. Will was the last person Nico talked to every night (they had spies, and they knew everything). They surprised each other with their favorite treats (fruity twizzlers and mcdonalds), and they could always tell what kind of mood the other was in, just by the first few words in their sentence. Nico knew how Will preferred his omelets, and the fact that Will could eat breakfast for every meal. Will knew Nico's favorite firework.
But they are absolutely, totally, completely not dating.
And the Aphrodite cabin is having none of that.
