Slowly, he registered his surroundings- the yellow painted walls dulled by shadows, the soft throw pillow beneath his head, and the slightly scratchy fabric of something thrown over his body. The last sensation struck him as odd. Shakes shuffled to his elbows and squinted as his eyes acclimated to the dark. The undeniable red of the Supa Strikas' uniform jacket was splayed across his chest like a makeshift blanket.

Summary
After a moment, Snake’s movements stop, to which Otacon turns his head to look. Reclined against the bed, legs stretched out with his ankles crossed, Snake’s eyes are closed. Hands folded neatly on his stomach, his diaphragm flexes just enough to show he was still awake, just resting.
Hesitantly, Otacon reaches his free hand out and touches the top of Snake’s head, who leans into the touch with a small noise - similar to a sleeping cat being touched. Exhaling a laugh through his nose, Otacon combs his fingers through Snake’s hair, making a mental note to give him a haircut soon.
“Is there anything else we need to do today?”
“I doubt it’d kill you to get dressed and go to the store with me.”
“Eh,” Otacon replies, though he knows Snake is right.
