Chanyeol didn’t know what to ask, or what to think about that person. He remembered Byun Baekhyun talking to a crowd, smiling down at them as if he knew them. He remembered the people who had come explicitly to insult him turning back on their heels as soon as he had ordered them to. He could practically still see that boy, staring at one of their bullies in the face when he had been told that people were dying. I am aware, he had said. And he had to be, considering the way he had covered his mouth while he coughed later, his lips and fingers stained with flower petals and blood.
