Summary
The first time it happens, it's the middle of the night.
Sunghoon is in a deep sleep, exhausted from working the night shifts at the bar for the last couple of days because Jake has been out sick. It’s just been himself and Heeseung working and by the time he gets out, the sun is already peeking up through the horizon and he’s dragging his feet home, so when he feels Sunoo shake him from sleep, he’s only half awake to comprehend the worried look on his boyfriend’s face.
It’s quiet for at least a minute, he thinks, and he’s about to fall asleep again when he finally hears it, the sound of furniture moving and scraping along the floor, at 4:00 in the morning. This can’t be happening. He groans, stuffing his pillow over his face, while Sunoo hangs onto his arm and scoots in close. So Sunoo tells him of the horrifying conclusion he’s come to the next morning: that the apartment next to them is most definitely haunted, or is it?

Summary
Sunoo closed his eyes and danced, letting the terrible TikTok songs and Jungwon's decent singing along drown out everything else. One day he'd have to face the consequences of his actions, but that day wasn't today. For now, he'd run away from it all, dancing and drinking and praying to anyone who'd listen that he'd get just a little more time to not care. Just a few more days with his heart intact.

He was aware that their game of push and pull involved far too much pushing, practically shoving each other to the edge to see when they’d finally tip over. To see who’d be the first to fall and finally crack apart on the bottom. Jungwon of sixteen-years old would’ve been aghast at his behavior. Jungwon and Jongseong are in love but not together. Sunoo broke Sunghoon's heart to save his own, and now he's after Heeseung's. Jake is just there to have fun, until he realizes Heeseung might never like him back and his heart on his sleeve might end up being his downfall.
