Good job, stable family, more money than any one person had any right to have, a fiancée who loved her. Everything was coming up Kiramman, as far as the universe was concerned. But was this really it? Was this what happiness truly was?

Vi was pretty sure this was as good as it was going to get for her. Fresh out of prison, with a roof over her head, a good job, a best friend that hadn't abandoned her, and her sister...she finally had her sister back in her life again. Her life felt good for the first time in a long time. Not perfect, because perfect was a fantasy, at least for Zaunites like her. They didn't get perfect, not like the Pilties did. But for Vi, this had to be as good as it gets.

Summary
War has been going on for decades against the continents of Westeros and Essos for valuable resources. Westeros, recently taken over and ruled by House Lannister, strives to colonize Essos, but Essos isn’t as weak as they remember. In fighting this decade-long war, the other houses such as House Kiramann and Talis are tired of the Lannisters’ ego-filled minds, and talks of a rebellion against them are stirring across Westeros, creating tension in the throne room. However, a rebellion would be the start of a civil war, and as all of the houses have their own valuable resources that are crucial for each of the kingdoms to function, everyone in the continent of Westeros knows that war will certainly be the end of the kingdom as they know it.
