Summary
For the first time in a long time, things are good for Jason. He has a boyfriend, a child (sort of), and a family who loves him.
But the past has a funny way of catching up to you, and the strength of Jason's bonds are tested when he sets out on a very personal crusade.
aka: the one where Jason goes after the bastards who ruined his childhood, and everyone else grapples with their own moral codes

Summary
Ace freezes in the middle of replying to a text. He feels his blood run a bit warmer, but he knows he must have misheard. He looks up, blinking at the red-faced redhead across from him. “What did you say?”
Bryce looks torn, looking anywhere but at Ace. He bites his lower lip and furrows his eyebrows. “I said…what if I want you to hit on me?”
//
After a few months with the studio, Ace's confidence is through the roof.
Bryce finds it hotter than he's willing to admit...at first.

Summary
The Bats hadn't been there, of course; they were busy, Jason assumes, dealing with “the bigger picture”, whatever it may be. Jason had been there by himself, and he'd done a damn good job of things, too, until he'd gone and gotten himself shot.
//
Jason makes a single, nearly fatal mistake, and earns himself an extended stay in the hospital.
At least he has a visitor, even if it's someone he barely likes.

Summary
It wasn’t like the Pit was puppeteering him; Jason doesn’t get the luxury of absolution. The Pit had simply seized what was already within him, the black, hardened lump of seething anger and insecurity that lay at his core.
//
Jason doesn't think he's worth forgiveness.
Everyone else seems to think differently.

Summary
“If I'm so tough to look at,” Jason murmurs beneath his breath, leaning in with a wicked grin. “Then why can't you take your eyes off me?”
There's hesitation and silence as Tim’s gaze races across every angle of Jason's body. He reaches up and grabs Jason by the throat, hard enough to earn a strangled yelp of surprise. “I hate you,” he spits, every syllable coated with poison.
//
Jason has a habit of getting under Tim's skin. It's usually intentional.
Tim doesn't find it particularly amusing.

Roy knew it was wrong to feel this way, for so many reasons. Jason was just a friend he was fucking. Roy had no claim over him.
He wished he did.

Summary
“I dunno,” Roy said. “Is it actually worth it? Seems like a lot of work for a quick lay.”
Jason shot him an amused look. “‘A lot of work’? Please. A few shirtless pics, a few flirty messages, and I could have a man at my front door like that.” He snapped his fingers.
It sounded like Jason was speaking from experience. Roy didn’t like thinking about it.
“You could, too,” Jason added. “I know you know how to flirt. I’ve heard the stories.”
Not like Roy had been flirting with Jason – trying to, anyway – almost as long as they’d been friends. Jason had just never picked up on it. Or – even worse – he had, but he hadn’t been interested.

“Hi, hi, hi!” the little girl greeted. “I'm Lian! You're Jason!”
“I… am Jason, yes,” Jason narrowed his eyes suspiciously at the little girl.
